Aggressive speech on smart speakers
Interaction design with movement for the suppression of aggressive speech on smart speakers
Project Summary
Smart speakers equipped with conversational agents are becoming popular, but there is concern that they may take an aggressive tone because the speaker is talking to a machine. Aggressive speech toward a conversational agent may have a negative impact on people who are not participating in the conversation, and it is desirable to avoid such aggressive speech. In this study, we propose an interaction in which the smart speaker physically behaves to suppress the aggressive tone of the speaker. We compare the proposed method with existing products, and analyze and discuss changes in human speech.
